Tim, What got me originally interested in Rambus was a statement Pete McWilliams of Intel made as to why they selected Rambus technology over any other. In a nutshell, Intel sees the ability to extend Rambus technology over MULTIPLE GENERATIONS of processors whereas DDR and SDRAM are at the limit of their extensibility. I think this quote was from December 1996 or thereabouts, and in one of the EET articles or Semiconductor news publications, but I cant find it now. Happy Thanksgiving, stephen
