Andy, eBay is back to posting true auction totals.

Don't know how long it will last.

Also, I would be surprised if eBay sees a decline this season.

It is true there is usually a slight decline around a holiday, but let's not forget that Christmas is a BUYING time of year.

I think sellers will try to take advantage of the buying mood and post more items.

In this case, I think eBay is just trying to dampen expectations so they can deliver a nice upside surprise.

Ebay stock right now is overvalued by a huge percentage. Even if ebay were to post stellar earnings for the next five years - the stock would still be way overvalued.
