Jas, sounds like you have an IRQ conflict. If you know what I'm talking about, try and fix it. If you don't know, don't go there. Most people who try and fix this just end up digging a deeper hole. Find a friendly geek and get him to help on site.

Also, I'm on Win98 and outside of being able to run multiple monitors, there just really isn't any significant difference.....certainly no speed difference. If I wasn't running multiple screens I would even say don't spend the money on it. As far as I'm concerned, its more just a marketing game from Microsoft to get you to buy another product. In reality they could have just said it was the latest (endless) update of win95.

You may be asking win95 update? What updates? Microsoft really doesn't come out very often with different "version numbers" of their programs, but there are constant updates and bug fixes going on. A Win95 disk that you bought last year is not the same as one made today...although microsoft doesn't announce these changes and the look and feel of the program and packaging is completly the same. Of course, their product is "perfect" first time around...isn't it? :)

All the best

Kevin

First I'm no wizzard!! But what I would do is go to Control Panel remove my CD-ROM . Reboot and wait for Win95 to detect it. If you have your drive disk it may/may not ask for it.
