Throw in a natural tendency of investors to shore up their Market Cap. portfolios at the end of the quarter and calendar year, and you have the right combination of ingredients to push the Dow up through the end of December. I thought conventional wisdom was tax selling occurs in December? The article also neglected to mention that last year we had a gut wrenching correction just before Xmas.
