The company is Adelphia cable in Miami, FL. I had the internal cable modem first and it gave me some grief. Now I have an external that connects to my little home ethernet. It is very reliable and with I am not using it the kids can get at it. The only problem is the speed. It gets slow at times when I am browsing especially SI. It may not be totally the cable companys fault, but I usually don't see the problem at work. You also cannot do tracert's for some reason so I don't know what backbone they are connecting to.
