Frank, you hit on a couple legitimate pot'l strategies there-- Other northern AB land claims expiring in the year 2000 is a big one. Another may be the usurping of PUG's interest (by making financings all the harder), perhaps even partly due to any resentment regarding D.Sheldon's desire to promote more than the conservative other 2 in the jv.

I think we likely will see a return by Ashton to K-14, and yes, even K-91, in the future. We know K-6 will be.
More to this than first meets the eye.

Anyway, quickly, here's an excerpt from J.Kaiser's delayed response to the last ACA NR, which he put out in a 'Tracker' last night:

The K14 results do not have negative implications for the geological potential of the Alberta diamond play, which is still at too early an exploration stage to be written off. I need only point to Botswana, where only two world class pipes, Orapa and Jwaneng, have been found among over a hundred barren or near barren pipes. Tanzania has hundreds of barren pipes and only one economic pipe, the Williams Mine. While northern Alberta has not yet yielded a world class pipe, the ratio of diamondiferous to barren pipes is world class.
