Baby Bras
(no not A cups)

while we have all been watching the net crazies on the nasdaq something interesting has been quietly going on with the 11 spinoffs from the old Telebras (now worth 10 cents residual value)

since these ADR's were opened late last week some have gone up a tad (over 5 days)

TCN +217%
TRO +163%
TND +155%
TBE +94%
TMB +83%
TSU +81%
TNE +36%
TSD +12%
TCP +10%
TSP -4%
EMT -11%

the sense is that those huge gains were due to short covering

I'm pondering how or if to give a few of these a stab
to me TRO TNE TSU TCP TSD seem to be the ones to focus on due to chart and volume/liquidity

but just not sure what the best way is

any thoughts?

>>Net stock to watch ... NAVR<<

I agree. I've kept NAVR on one of my screens since it went crazy (briefly) a few months ago, and the chart since the beginning of the month is strong. I now wish I'd acted sooner - in fact I haven't acted at all yet. Hope it doesn't run too fast and paralyze my buy button finger.

Another beaten-downer is COSFF (maybe we should apply to Jenna for permission to talk about beaten down stocks - she shouldn't mind - don't see many of those on her site these days). This is a real tough one, since the CEO is famous for running companies into the ground. But the chart - if you ignore the Cowpland factor - is very nice.

(I own all of a thou of COSFF, the remnants of a youthful indiscretion that cost me something north of 10k. Leo M, if you still monitor this thread, you know what I mean. Those were wonderfully frothy days, when COSFF was going to take over the Java world and make us all insanely rich, until Cowpland changed direction again - and also did a little channel stuffing)
