Considering GZ's success, I need to pay more attention to forks. Since you were missing files I went back to my directory and found a couple of clc files that I didn't download. I use getdatai.bat, which uses pininup, and then use the build files, which use dmaker. After I update my Metastock files each day I always (now) pull up the Windows Explorer and verify that all the "F" files have the current date.

Mike said that he is now using Howard's technique of keeping a 1.5 EMA of his trades on a per trade basis to see when a model goes bad. Mike says he gets the data directly off of the trade report. That is a problem that models that are good will suddenly go bad. I try to have several models of different types so I can switch models when that happens. If a model that I trust fails once, I will put it on the back burner until I have trust in it again. The best tactic is probably to withdraw from trading until I get a good net under current conditions, but for me that is impossible.<ggg>

I consider my NN's only one indicator (the best) and try to use it in conjunction with other indicators.

Best Wishes,

Bob
