Myz: NM - Don't be too concerned with any but the two most recent insider 144s (planned sales). The others were many months ago. THe two most recent were by Montomery Scott and there is any number of reasons why they may be selling..... I would still prefer not to see them but one insider getting out doesn't really bother me. More importantly what you need to rationalize is, why are you in NM. I posted a few days ago stating that I see no compelling valuation here with NM. But, I don't see compelling valuation with EBAY, ONSL, CDNW, MALL. This is no longer about valuation and fundamentals. To a large degree it is about the hype surrounding the internet and those that will be standing on top when it is all said and done. Looking at a relative level, NM is undervalued here for what they are now offering. I see NO difference to NMs current price or position here when comparing it to ONSL, CDNW, MALL, EBAY, etc. They are just starting their marketing campaign, went live with the site, but even better is that they are a global player with ties to many other countries. This alone was a fact that I missed before when doing my DD. There is no reason this cannot be a $30-$60 stock, just as the others are. Am I saying that, on a pure valuation that it is worth that.....no, but this is an Internet play and fundamentals are not in the equation. I am hearing great things about their site as well from people that are using it. I would expect a very nice press release about their 1st week or month success. Your position about the short ratio is a good one. The short position in many stocks can be a negative but in this case, as with many high flying techs and Inets, I believe will only add fuel to the fire. NM is getting very close to breaking out, when it does, expect those shorts to cover (buy and close) their positions to avoid the possibility of another MALL, ONSL, etc. So, not only do you have your normal hype or longs buying, you have short buying for fear for a major run. This could happen early next week if the press is good. Could be very explosive. But like TM says earlier, always keep an eye on your Inet plays, if Barrons or WSJ comes out and slaps people from their Internet stupor, people will dump. That is another nice part about NM right now, it is in its embryonic Internet stage and doesn;t have that far to drop. But always keep a finger on that sell button. Good luck and good trading. TJ
