Who, this is one of those area's the liberal media love to spin to their advantage but fail to see the total picture.

There is a difference between thoughts, speech and action.

This is a tough one, but I'll give it a shot on this quiet Thanksgiving day....

Political thought is simply that. I believe a certain way, therefore I think a certain way. I voice those opinions, to friends, acquaintances, people on the net and so forth. Individual thoughts are free. Everyone has them.

Because Christians believe abortions shouldn't take place, they are not to be blamed for people who shoot up abortion clinics. The same is true of people who believe abortions should be legal. Should we blame them for every abortion performed? Should we blame them for every woman who has died while having an abortion. Of course not!

Speech...Free speech is a right given to us in the Constitution. Free speech translates into political movements, laws, bounds of behavior and so forth. Because a Christian attempts to change the laws of the land regarding abortion, does not mean that he/she is to be blamed for an abortion clinic being bombed? Of course not. The same is true of people who believe that abortion should be protected. Should we blame them for the millions of abortions? Of course not.

Action...This is the area in which laws take effect. A person can think a certain way, can speak a certain way, but until they act in a way contrary to law. They are not to be blamed in any way. Actions contrary to law, follow punishment. This is the area in which blame is affixed.

Political Correctness from the liberal left have attempted to alter these fundamental idea's. I sincerely hope for our sake they are unsuccessful.

Michael

The person that kills an abortionist deserves the death penalty, just as any person committing murder does! The left just loves to lump all people of faith together with the lunatic fringe!!!

Perhaps you could take up the lunatic fringe matter with Ish, Who.

<<BTW; what was your opinion on the sniper murder of the abortion doctor>>

Sounds good to me.

But, I'm sure you're both good Christians.

Take a vote among yourselves. Ish says it (the killing of abortion doctors) "sounds good" to him. You are against it. That makes it 1-1 so far.

Let's see if the rest of the "conservatives" have the courage to vote on this.
