Net sales for the quarter from Elek-Tek, ComputAbility and uBid accounted for $53.2 million. PC/WINTEL sales increased
92% (22% excluding acquisitions) from $49.7 million in last year's comparable quarter to $95.5 million for the three months ended September 30, 1998. Increased PC/WINTEL sales from acquisitions of Elek-Tek and ComputAbility accounted for $32.5 million

= a difference of 20.7Million

what did I do wrong?

You have deducted PC/WINTEL sales from acquisitions of Elek-Tek and ComputAbility from net sales

Regards.

NM - what did I do wrong?

It isn't "Increased PC/WINTEL sales from acquisitions of Elek-Tek and ComputAbility accounted for $32.5 million"

Given that some of the sales of Elek-Tek and Computability are not PC/Wintel you didn't subtract enough.

Additionally the 10Q actually says Increased PC/WINTEL sales from acquisitions of Elek-Tek and ComputAbility accounted for $32.5 million or 71% of the increase. (Emphasis mine)

Given that this is a discussion of the increase in sales since last year and at least one of these acquisitions was in Q3 last year, then there are probably some revenues in the acq's that were not an increase from last year's Q3.
