>>Yes Waldo and Americans can pick it up cheap, cheap, cheap for only US$2.09/share (approx.).???<<

All one has to do is sell one thousand shares of Ebay and buy 100,000 shares of BII....Ebay will have to go to 500.00 US to equal the qualifying price of BII (7.50 CDN) on the NASDAQ.

<< (maybe the BID.COM (TSE:BII) will be the first Internet sales company to make a profit.!!!!! >>

Here is a question for everyone.... "Is making a profit a good thing for BII?" Now, at first you might think that is a stupid question, right? However, at this stage in the game, shouldn't gaining market share be the #1 priority? When you consider that the large US internet companies like Amazon.com, Ebay, etc. all seem to be spending as much (or more) on advertising, etc. as they are currently bringing in as revenues.... perhaps the market wants to see internet start-ups just concentrating on gaining market share? The investment people are making in these "overvalued companies" would seemingly be based on "future" earnings.... not the current profitability of the company.

Although I like the idea of having a nice balanced bottom line, I do believe that perhaps that isn't the best tactic to use at this stage in the game? I think I would like to see Bid.com saying "We are going to promote ourselves through the ying-yang through every medium possible." If I saw their promotional budget equaling their projected revenues for the year, it probably would attract me as an investor at this point in the game, rather than scare me away. Especially considering what we have seen with the American internet companies.

Comments anyone?
