Thanks for the post. Since I posted about going for cable, I discovered I had ADSL right under my nose all along and this is what I am going for. I have heard ADSL goes down, too. It's safe to say the internet is a long way from being completely reliable. Too many telco POTS connections along the way, not to mention backhoes digging up fiberoptic lines and shredding them, routers going down, satellites retasking themselves the wrong way and so on. As long as I get to trade SOME of the time I still have a shot, right?
