tool--

At the risk of being impolite, I'll respond to your post altho it was intended for Doug. MER is the lead manager on the UBID IPO. If you are a MER customer, you may be able to get UBID at its filing price (est at $12-14). My experience has been that its hard to get many shares of a hot IPO unless you are a VERY good customer with a big account -- the most I was offered by my brokerage was 300. The actual price when the issue opens, at least for the Internut IPOs, has been typically a big multiple of the filing price.
