CompUSA's advertisement for Thanksgiving has Diamond Monster (V1) for $30 (after rebates), STB Black Magic 12 meg (V2) for $99 after rebate, and CL Banshee for $99 (after rebate). No sign of any nVidia cards in the whole ad.

Best Buy has Quake2 for $10 (after rebate). I'll actually get it for that cheap.

Good news in some ways, but are the card makers dumping the rest of their stock (pressure from TnT plus V3 coming soon) and will they order more V2 chips to take care of the rest of 3Dfx's inventory? I've called 3Dfx a few times over the last month and they haven't called me back yet. Pretty annoying, no other company I own stock in has taken so long to call me back.

Michael

ps - every new v1/v2/banshee sale is another Glide ready card.
