Yes, I came out in '76 as well but I'm older than that because I had to go nights, mostly, the last several years.

Actually the concept of Neural Nets originated in the '50s but of course computing power was an issue.

This professor has a doctorate from NYU in OR with LinPro, I think. So if anyone can help me he should be able to.

96 hours, huh? that does seem a bit slow. Let me ask you, have you ever just tried stopping it in the middle of a run? This fellow Bandy runs long generations as well but likes to kill it perhaps 30 hours in, or maybe it was less. I don't recall.

I don't think it will be a linear relationship on the speed issue using the 450 but that's just a hunch.
