I spend time in deauville which is quite nice. I also like Antibes, and Juan Les Pins. I used to go to Cannes alot, but it's a little to stuffy for me.

but the problem is that most people get to only Paris and think this is France. Paris represents France much like Brooklyn represents the US. Get out of Paris and the people are much differnt.

I've always found Brooklyn to be pretty friendly; friendlier than Manhattan (where I live).
