I agree with this. I think LU is the best possible suitor for COM$. I also think that COM$ could go it alone and be successful. That is one reason i think they are being stubborn about doing a deal here. An LU/COM$ combination would accelerate the VOIP business for both, IMO. Tim <<Clearly coms management sees it's future in the integrated voice/video/data market. And if they want to compete and survive in that market they have no choice but to merge in my opinion>>

Martin, COMS is going to be burried in exacty what manner.. do you know how many times COMS has been "burried" in the past, only to kick the $hit out of their competitors.. I find these comments funny. You know sometimes you people go too ape-shit over merger rumours and BS.. think logically for a minute. LU doesn't need to buy ANYONE.. LU has enough patents and talented people that they could compete in any segment they choose to. LU has a good name too.. Anyway, let's just agree to disagree ont his Martin, since I won't change your mind and (no offense) don't have the time to try, and likely vice-versa. Steve
