Alan, Canadian Silver Dollars (1935 - 1967) are specified to have a weight of 23.327 grams of 80% silver. All of the Canadian silver coins of other denominations have weights proportional to the dollar; i.e. the quarter weighs 1/4 that of the dollar. I know the US coins are slightly larger, but I don't have any figures handy. I hopes this helps.
