>>>But don't feel bad for me; save it for Due Diligence. I was playing with phantom shares.<<<

Don't feel bad for me, either.
Fortunately, I first noticed TCBG in the .70 range and the writer noticed it
much, much later at a much, much higher share price. Also, August and September
weren't exactly the "longs" paradise in the overall market. Glad to see the writer did
point out some pitfalls with the "market" though. Always important to check the
historical trading data, filings-if available, past releases, calling the company,
product line, etc. Far too many jump in a stock without any DD, whatsoever.
Instead, relying on the ramblings of internet posts. Unacceptable and a prescription
for failure.

BTW: Was it "Confessions of a On-line Investor or On-line Trader"????

"Maybe a little, but then I read what BIG-DOG had to say:
"This will be the biggest week in TCBG history," he crowed on Saturday. "This coming week, we will finally
get going on to much higher prices." "

Based on THAT hype, Mr. Whitford "bought" TCBG to his regret.

The Author is hardly a novice, and the article deals with the scams and crap stocks being hyped on SI and Raging bull and the internet in general. The authors "virtual portfolio" lost tons because he listened to (and paper traded) the likes of Big Dog and others. At the end of the article, in the "Tips" sidebar, he says (based on his experience listening to the online gurus like Big Dog) "TRUST NO ONE"

I have no agenda, other than to point out what an a##hole you are Mike...
