I use suretrade for position trades and such and a few weeks ago I put in a market order for INTC at the open to sell. It never showed up as executed on my screens but the broker on the phone assured me it would have sold within a minute or so of sending my order but that the market maker had not gotten a price to them yet. The stock never showed as executed all day, and two other brokers assured me later in the day that it had to have sold. The next morning the stock was sold at 1/2 point less than when I placed the order, then they sold the stock again not knowing the market order finally went through, to cover a margin call ( a call I was trying to cover by selling in the first place) by the time I caught on to this the stock had moved up 5/8ths and they had bought to cover!. I called and it took me over 4 days to get this straight.
