Howdy pardner. It was myself that offered the explanation that the KAL crew was asleep. Just to pull your leg of course!!!

BTW Cobalt, the Russians have been shooting down planes violating their airspace for years. I think KAL007 was probably their first bonafide airliner.

Mqurice, I think the 10K is just reflecting the usual conservative line. There were manufacturing problems in the past and they are acknowledging that they could happen again in the future. As a stock holder I would rather that they have a more optomistic tone of voice but as I've followed this company over the years they've always been real matter of fact.

Oh, one last thing about KAL007. I don't really have an opinion aside from tragic accident etc. However, I think the Russians used to use civilian(they're own) flights whenever they could to gather intelligence. Seem to remember reading something about them always mistakenly flying over the sub pens in Connecticut while on their way into New York...or something like that. Well, if they do it they probably think others do too.
