Has anyone looked at Northrop (NOC) lately? I can't figure this one. If or (IF) analysts' estimates for next year are anywhere near correct, then NOC would be trading now at a very reasonable multiple. You have a premier (well, top tier anyway) defense contractor where there's still some rumor of them being bought out, some interest because of the multibillion $ defense bill that's been passed, and some barriers to entry in this business also. At this price (81), there's also a slightly better than market multiple dividend yield (for anyone who watches these things), and this is a company which is in the S&P 500, I think. Thoughts anyone?
