Jesus. What a hit you took: $20,000 down to $4,800. If it is any consolation I bought MF at it's high of $14 something about two days before Thailand cracked last year and Asia went into the valley of despond. MF then went down to $5.75 like it was on an elevator.

Thanks so much for sharing your Asian broker information. The US brokers of foreign stocks always were generally prety crappy. I used to have an account with Barclay's and owned a Swedish stock in the 80's. Every spring I'd have my yearly argument about the stock dividend paid by the company and have to write the company in Sweden.... for proof of the dividend. I'd ask Barclay's aren't you a European bank. They would answer, "Sir. We are a British bank. There is a difference you know."

After about five years of this kind of attitude the president of the Swedish company died , the stock went down 50% and I decided that I no longer could take the problems of dealing with Barclay's and the problems of the company so I sold the position which...of course...then went and did a 10X gain.

Sigh.

My best to you,

Clark
