A review of the last 200 post indicate the value of the China Post Contract is $15M. Two references are seen. If true, $15M is not a significant amount which moved the price and generated the volumes seen in the last two days. Can anyone clarify any of the specifics of the China Post contact or what the primary influences could be? Thanking you in advance,

Mike Gordon

< It would surprise me if Ascend's portion of this contract is
limited to 'network administration' related equipment. As
alluded to in the above post, Ascend providing the frame
relay equipment, that would in turn connect to or uplink
to the NN 36170 ATM switch seems much more likely to me...
and also would fit in with their geographical description of
equipment going into and tying together the different provinces
of China. Just my two cents. Peter.>

Has anyone been watching the CrossKeys stock lately? Up about 50% over the last 7-10 days. Just a guess but China contract should include Cky's equipment.

Regards
Glenn

Peter --

I would have concluded this myself except for the word "recommended." Considering how masterful the company is at making grains of sand look like boulders, you'd think they'd make it absolutely clear that the 9000 had been chosen. Why use a word that leaves the reader wondering?

I could be wrong, however, it doesn't hurt to ask for clarity in a situation like this.

Later --
