Wow ... well, I suppose it's a good thing if it brings us attention. Still, it's not a rational reason to buy gold, imho. Buy gold because it's the only real money, because it's cheap right now, because there's not much of it and pretty soon people are going to realise that, because it's hard to get and beautiful and people just naturally like it, because it will be around and valuable when all the paper has turned to dust and blown away, but not for y2k. For y2k buy beer. Yeah, beans and candles too, but don't forget the beer.
