If you have an account at Etrade, log on and you will see an apology
message because they were behind this morning. Again I repeat, these
problems are due to demand being ahead of equipment and software . Of
course the online companies will resolve them, but probably not until
their market share growth levels off. They are in a viscious battle for online accounts and are expanding with unbelievable growth. They are all making money in this wild market, dont bet against that. Etrade has a notice that there is no stock available to short AMTD which means they must have the shorts where it hurts. I am fully
aware that AMTD will have its ups and downs, but that hasnt changed
in the last 30 years that I have traded, as a matter of fact I wouldnt want it to change, would you? As to your problem, my advice for what it is worth is to go to a firm with level 2 service and you will be so happy. It will happen here eventually but not till next year.
Meanwhile take a look at TSCN, another internet stock that got
discovered today, they run www.wallstreetcity.com and the stock
moved up about 40% today to 7. Mon should be real interesting.

Hey wait a minute Ameritrade has new beautiful commercials, I own one stock through them, I yanked the cash I had in the account and put it in E*Trade with the rest of my cash.(I have had an E*Trade account as long as I have had an Ameritrade account)

This morning I can't get the Ameritrade web site to give me a quote, it's so slow, it's a joke. When I call the 1 800 number it rings.....

But hey, what about them commercials? <VBG>

Tell him by moving your account, of course they'll ding you for $25, something most competitors don't do, but most don't buy you 1000 shares when you order 100, or charge you $23 when you put in a limit order on the web and it should have been $13, sure they corrected both of their errors (after I alerted them) but you got to watch 'em like a hawk.
