Well, I was told from a Levesque contact that the selling was originated from the Toronto office. Who knows who is correct. I know I have stayed away from Yamana because of the weak charts. I would be cautious and wait for the results. We will still be able to buy the stock at reasonable prices if news is really good. Don't forget, there is year end tax loss selling as well.

regards
Fast Frank

Very interesting comments and observation Tony. I was a little puzzled by the apparent selling today but hadn't checked where it was coming from. I does make sense that some investors would be concerned with the pending election and would likely shed a few shares however I am wondering if you have noticed them selling others today? Are Quebec firms doing the big selling across the board all stocks?

I do believe you are right about YRI. I believe they are a junior which has the stuff required to make a good strong company. It has been difficult for all juniors post the Bre-x scandal. It will take time to rebuild confidence. It will happen company by company though rather than the junior market as a whole I believe. Hence I would put
YRI up there as a junior determined to build shareholders confidence and value in them.

Thanks for your comments. Nice to have you lurking. Don't be so quiet in future. Appreciate your thoughts.
