Curtis,

even with Obuchi out, isn't it a little optimistic that anyone would be powerful enough to throw out the rest of the good old boys? Who is going to be strong enough to unite all the parties, finance the huge deficit, convince the people to consume, fire or jail all the bankers?

May be it will take another LDP defeat to finally break the system. I still opine that if the yen takes tumble down to 150 or lower, the bottom is near.
