I recognize that Korea is dangerous, but think of it. The world's greatest Nuclear Superpower is lecturing a weaker nation: "if you don't stop making those nuclear weapons we will nuke you". Where do we have the authority, moral or otherwise? Just askin.

An original take on recent M2/M3 increases: "Greenspan's Quite Bailout"

gold-eagle.com

P.S. Just look at he result of FED intervention. How long can the govt sustain PE's of 30? (That's the "cheaper" blue chips of course, the NASDAQ trades at much higher multiples.)

Assuming no severe loss of confidence, if the market merely chose to value stocks at normal historical levels , say a PE of 15, (implying a 50% drop) the U.S. would take an enormous economic hit.

The latest M2, M3 release. This explains the "16%" figure quoted in a Prudent Bear article someone posted (i..e, in order for the annual M2 rate to be 12% over the last three months, a 16% month had to balance the earlier 8% rate of growth).
