REH,

Re: TOKYO - Advantest Corp. (TSE:6857) will market a complete set of hardware and software systems in December for testing Direct Rambus
dynamic random-access memory chips (DRAMs) developed by Rambus Inc. of the U.S., company officials said.

The firm aims to sell 100 sets a year of the Rambus Testing Set, priced at about 300 million yen.

If this one company is expecting to sell 100/year of their Rambus Testing Sets, all presumably to RMBS licensees, then what is your expectation for the total number of licensees by mid-1999 - only seven months away? What about by 2000 - 13 months and counting?

I know the thread speculates on royalties but can we put numbers to the number of licensees? Like how many do we know about now? I imagine you have this number somewhere.
