Just stepping out of the lurk mode for a moment, I havn't posted here for a while and a still hold TPII.

A CBC newsprogram ran a report this week on Y2K problems. They reported that insurance companies are threatening that they will be now including a clause in their insurance policies to small and large businesses stating that insurance will not cover any losses due to Y2K problems. Either inside your own company or because your supplier has a problem. The insurance companies are also trying to say that they will fight any claims made on existing policies.

If I was a small operator and had some insurance salesman tell me that, I'm sorry but even if your suppliers cause a loss your not covered I'd be getting worried. Stories like this may be just the thing to turn the trickle of contracts for Y2K fixes into a flood.
