I stumbled across this link due to a citation from a poster related to another stock I own. With all of the excellent analysis by you, Craig, Greg, Ed, KJ, Techno, KL, et al, it seemed to be very relevant. I tried poking around it a little to see if any more detail could be derived.

Anyway, it seems to solidify more variables in the analysis and I thought that it would be helpful. Thanks again for all of your input. At the end of the day, I believe we will all know that the agony was very well worth it.

Correction: "On this view all the ECNs and Ms fall out and it is being done by Non-registered market makers" should read "On this view all the ECNs and Ns fall out and it is being done by registered markets makers (Ms)"

George,

I just spent some time at the nasdaqtrader.com site searching for the UPC-71 rule, but to no avail... could you give us a brief explanation, or a more specific page URL? (You should have picked a less intriguing example! ;-)

Tante grazie,

- nic
