You are playing a VERY dangerous game [shorting EGGS], kind of like Russian Roulette with bullets in many [but exact number unknown] of the chambers.

Your reasoning about the value of the stock relative to its price is absolutely on the mark and completely logical.

The problem is that the market is behaving in an unbelievably irrational and illogical manner with regard to almost all of the INet stocks.

You are fighting the tide, and stand a good chance of being swept out to sea. This game is often not about logic, reason or value, it is sometimes about emotion and momentum and greed.

And if I were going to short some of these, I'd rather do it with a company such as Amazon or E-Bay that has no chance of EVER being actually worth the stock price, than with a company like Egghead, which would only have to earn about $0.25/quarter to actually be WORTH it's present stock price (at a LOW multiple).
