I agree, I own my own business, and an accountant is the only way to go...As far as stock gains and losses, I have no clue how to do it, but it is a lot more fun to pay Uncle Sam taxes for gains than try to recover some taxes for losses!

Tax Advice: Start a (or convert before 12/31) Roth IRA. If you are a good trader, you will have bazillions in your retirement COMPLETELY TAX FREE!!

Think about it--it's a no brainer!

I second that, I've been in business for myself 10 years. No way with out a good accountant. Try to find one familiar with investing though
