Its not just the products, its the distribution, its the branding, its the salesforce, its the manufacturing process, etc.

OT, look at that Rambus go. Just got into it but I figure it could be an interesting ride.

Here is the CPQ ads on today's New York Times:

CPQ, AMD K6-2 400MHZ, 5X DVD, 17" Monitor, 1.5 Mbps digital modem, 128 MB DRAM,.... complete system for $1590.

Boy! I thought my next computer would be DELL. But, I see no service for this new new modem in greater New York area, at least not what I know of. The problem is not who sells it cheaper, but the price is too low for every seller.
