Flatsville - Was anyone able to listen to the T minus 400 days Yardeni conference today? Real Player continuously rebuffered due to net congestion. (I am unable to hear most of the conference due to the bad connection.) What was the tone, thrust, etc. As might be expected, there was optimisim & pessimism. Primary focus of the day-long phone conference was on comuunities & municipalities. Sounds like we're still firmly stuck in the Awareness 101 stage. Clearly though, there's rising concern from the old-timers (Steve Davis, Bill Ulrich, & others) that radicals/extremists are increasingly dangerous. When we're still trying to get the ball rolling, putting efforts into countering the "head for the hills" crowd is hardly a productive use of limited resources. - David
