CD Warehouse jumped 5 3/4 to 18 on volume of 216,00. The Oklahoma City-based company owns and franchises stores that buy and sell used CDs. By purchasing used discs for $1-$4 and reselling them for $6-$9, the stores have produced profit margins of 60% plus. A third of sales comes from new-CD sales, which generate traffic but carry margins of under 20%. After-tax profit margin reached 5.9% in the third quarter, the company's highest in nine quarters...
