Alper, market closed early, but not an official holiday. Many places including financial institutions will operate with half staff or even less. On the other hand, this is one of the biggest shopping days of the year. Many try to make a 4 day holiday out of Thanksgiving by taking the Friday as a vacation day. Some call in sick, and they might be, after the pigging out that goes on, the day before. Perhaps more than you wanted to know. <g>
