Although a lurker, I have to crawl out and thank you for posting this. I will be forwarding it to several people. I feel that the author has written "what needed to be said" very well and it reads as a heartfelt expression of a man betrayed after a life of service to this country. --S

Re: Army Letter:

Great spin. I agree with the letter on one point, that it is not all about sex. What it is about is the Republican Party trying to get back control of the White House.

Most politicians lie, IMHO. A reason for term limits is so that the people don't have to put up with any politician for too long. Term limits are dumb, but, what the hell.

The people are disappointed by Clinton's behaviour, but are not surprised, since we have learned not to expect much from our politicians. Clinton is an exception. At least, before this attack on the Presidency, a lot was getting done.

Now, with the Republican party willing to focus this country on attacking the office of the President, instead of more important issues, we shouldn't expect to see any out of congress except for down and dirty politics.

UGH! And, who is the loser going to be? The people.
