Yes. I believe it will split. They know earnings are going to be great this quarter and next year. Last split was announced when price was 135. It had a big run-up after that news and split at 150. Management does not want investors to believe that the stock will behave like IBM did when DOJ brought the suit against that company. Being upbeat (and then delivering) about earnings and a stock split should ensure it does not happen. Hoping to see $150 by earnings. Paul

IMO, splits are not really worth very much. the stock pops up temporarily due to the fact that more investors access to a round lot, but these are usually more naive investors who tend to cause additional volatility. The effects tend to cancel each other out over time. Focus on the fundamentals and the business propsects, both of which are superb for MSFT.
