<---OT--> Chris a lot of people had the same problem today with BAMM including me as I couldn't get any confirmation of my order this morning, never happened to me all these 15 years I have been with the broker, normally it takes couple of 3 seconds. So anyway I called them and complained, found out the 'market maker' never had this much vol in one day and is having trouble updating the confirmation info but trades were being executed as they came in.Anyway to make a long story short,my computer didn't get updated until late in the afternoon and the price I paid was exactly what it was when I placed order,$18 something. I think I have to give some credit to my broker for a job well done, they have never fleeced me all these years not once quite unlike your experience with Brown & Co. Mine by the way is
Fidelity.

Hope you don't get fleeced again like this in the future.
All the best.

I left Brown & Co several years ago because of similar problems. They send all their NASDAQ orders to Mayer Schwetzer which is owned by Charles Schwab & CO. I frequently had to dispute the fills they were giving me. Nine times out of ten I used to get an adjustment but it was too much of a hassle to deal with.

In a fast moving stock transaction, it is totally possible. If you watch live bid/ask quotes for active internet stocks, it is incredible. B.J.
