Hey I am no expert - just trying to get a reaction from you.
I am just having some fun.

However, the thing I do believe is that MSFT stock is headed up -- way up.

Microsoft has already taken IBM down in three categories - PC OSs, productivity apps, and low end worstation/server OSs (IBM was overshadowed by Sun in this area - no pun intended). The race is on in medium to high end client server OSs, enterprise databases and backend server suites.

so as you can see, it is not that absurd to believe that IBM can be beat. Dell and Compaq trounced IBM at its own game as well.

If you are going to compare IBM to MSFT, make sure you carve out the appropriate revenue streams, ex. PS software and enterprise software. Does IBM still make more than MSFT along those lines.

Oh yeah, IBM's growth is definitely not all of that (especially in comparison to MSFT - do a five year trend), whose numbers have you been looking at?
