What you might try, is going through all your folders and click on properties on each one to see how large each folder is, to find out where you are using the most space, and then make your decisions from there. Program Files and Windows will probably be the largest.

How many word processor file do you have on your system? If you have a ton, put them onto a floppy(s). Delete un-wanted .avi (videos) files, pictures, .wav (sound) files....etc.

Un-install programs you do not use anymore. Then defrag your HD.
