Here's a link to a nice little article directly related to the, "last mile," thread. Not much detailed info for the investor, but article explains very nicely why innovation is so SLOW (Can you say xDSL?).

Ken, They talk about wireless being a solution. But I'm not to excited about it. I still think a widespread wireless solution, as a sound investment, is about five years off (IMHO).
