I use to run Norton Utilities 3, but now I run Nuts&Bolts 98. Well worth the money, LOTS of goodies....I mean LOTS.

Isn't there a registry cleaner that'll take out a lot of useless stuff?

It's not a space saving utility, but Regclean has done a good job of fixing registry problems for me. It sometimes fixes little unexplainable annoyances that occur occasionally, usually from installing and uninstalling various programs.

I think I got it from Microsoft. I'm sure a search will find a location from which to download it.
