If you're removing a program, it's best to check in Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs, to see if it's listed there. It's a more thorough way of removing registered programs. Then, when that's done , go back and delete the folder.

It is your computer but if i am in your position i wouldn't delete any programs -- that is one of the biggest mistake what most people
do -- " i don't like this and this and go and hit delete "
you have to uninstal programs ,the other way you end up with a computer with a lot of space on hdd but that damn thing wouldn't work
or will be crawling around the net and not surfing .. 8-))
