Not all Canadian mining stocks were (are) a scam. The flood to go to market to capitalize on the frenzy include alot of shady characters, and marginal players, particularly late in the cycle. I see the same thing happening now. Add a .com to your name and make a billion. Alot of the internut stuff coming to market now is marginal. Have a million dollars in revenue - the market will value you at 100 X that. This internut frenzy is just another manifestation of uncontrolled greed and will some day end as do all bubbles.
