Hi Tim,

I have decided to get out ASND at last minute of Friday trading for
the following reasons:

1) ASND has repeated telling the investor community that they are
going to sell three quarters of Stratus Computer to others and they
are going to make an announcement in Nov. So far this has not happened
yet. They still have one day left in Nov. to make that announcement.
But it looks too risky for me given the price has been running pretty
high so far.

2) Last quarter, excluding the charges, ASND actually made 30c per
share. One cent below expected 31c market consensus. The core business
is sort of flat.

3) Large number of insider selling in Nov.

4) I still believe ASND has improved its business quite bit. But given
the current stock price. It is a good deal for me to cash in since I
have holding them for more than a year. So, if it runs to $70 as you
predicted, it is fine with me. I am happy with what I got.

5) I do not believe there is LU buy out at least in the short run. If
you look at the volume of recent trading days and insider selling.

So, I am happy being an ASND investor for more than a year and made
a good money with 20% capital gain treatment.

Cheers!
Mike Wu
