Phillip,

I don't think that the RB post is hype. We were told that we were going to advertise on television in the last news release...

"Compact Connection's new marketing and advertising campaign promotes the MusicCard, using a combination of consumer and trade media, banner advertising on the Internet, television, and innovative promotions implemented through its strategic MusicCard partners. CCI's print campaign includes ads in Rolling Stone and Stereo Review magazines."

Just as Rolling Stone is the logical magazine for TSIG to advertise in, MTV/VH1/TNN seem to be the most logical TV stations to advertise on. If you watch MTV for a half-hour, you'll notice that CDNOW "owns" this station. There is a CDNOW commercial every 10 minutes or so and practically every MTV show is sponsored by CDNOW. I hope we get our share of air-time. I watch VH1 from time to time and have never seen a internet/CD commercial. Any country music fans out there? Have you ever seen an internet/CD commercial on the TNN station?

Gordon is not opposed to spending some advertising dollars. Back in late 94 or early 95 he did a commercial which ran on CNBC numerous times. He was apparently seeking additional Phoenix financing at the time. This is around the time that Soros came on the scene.
